Amanda Seyfried Has An Idea Of How The Original 'Mean Girls' Stars Could Return For The Movie Musical Remake


Amanda Seyfried has been one of the most vocal stars of the original Mean Girls to speak out about the hopes of returning for the upcoming musical movie that was recently announced.

The 36-year-old actress, who played the role of Karen opposite Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams and Lacey Chabert in the original movie, spoke to Entertainment Tonight about how the original Plastics could be part of the flick.

“I’m still hoping for a miracle,” Amanda admitted, adding that it’s “not really up to us, is it?”

However, she also shared that all of them are “100 percent into it. Maybe [we play] the mothers of our characters? That’s what I was thinking, but listen, I have not even seen the script.”

Just a few days ago, it was reported that talks with Amanda, Lindsay, Lacey and Rachel were “stalled” over this reason.
