All joking aside, the past week has not been among the best for Biden coming as he has been under attack from both Republicans and Democrats after his administration announced new border walls construction along the US-Mexico frontier in southern Texas. It’s official – schools in England are set to ban pupils from using mobile phones during the school day, as per new government guidance. Education secretary Gillian Keegan shared the plans at the Conservative party conference this week, citing phones as a distraction and tool for bullying, according to the BBC. Under the new plans, students can use their phones on their travels to and from school, but they won’t be allowed to use them throughout the school day – including on breaks. It’s worth noting that lots of schools already have their own policies on phone use during the school day, but these vary across the country.
